Beginning on Oct. 1, 2008, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will impliment a new set of Citizenship Test. If you file for naturalization on or after October 1, 2008, you are required to take the new test. If you file prior to October 1, 2008 and you are not interviewed until after October, 2008, you have an option to take either of the citizenship tests. Below are the 100 questions of the revised US Citizenship Test, which will be implimented in October, 2008.

All answers are shown exactly as worded by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Please note that some questions have more than one correct answer. In those cases, all acceptable answers are shown. If you are 65 years old or older and have been a legal permanent resident of the United States for 20 or more years, you can study just the questions that have been marked with an asterisk (*).
